Ian Williamson, PhD, is an expert in strategic human resource management, managing organizational change, and employee recruitment and retention. His research focuses on how the development of effective “talent pipelines” can enhance organizational outcomes. He is associate dean of international relations, director of the Asia Pacific Social Impact Leadership Centre and the Helen Macpherson Smith Chair of Leadership for Social Impact, at the Melbourne Business School, in Australia. He is a research fellow of the Intellectual Property Research Institute of Australia, and an associated scholar of the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, the Lorange Institute of Business Zurich and Rutgers Business School. He provides human resources consulting services and executive coaching for organizations around the world, including Lockheed Martin, McCormick & Company and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
