Nicole A. Johnson is an experienced HR leader and scholar-practitioner in the areas of strategic management and development. Currently, Nicole is serving as the Director of Federal Solutions for The Ken Blanchard Companies. As a learning and development leader, she provides consultative support to federal agencies seeking to develop transformational leaders and a sustainable learning organization.
In her last federal sector position with the Department of Treasury, she held a senior executive position responsible for developing and implementing strategies, programs, and policies in the areas of hiring, staffing, recruitment, employee development, workforce development, and labor relations. Nicole also previously established a female-owned small business focused on leadership, employee, and strategic human resource development for small non-profit organizations.
Nicole obtained her PhD from Virginia Tech in Human Development, with a focus on adult learning and human resource development. She maintains a scholarly focus in the fields of learning and development and organizational behavior through her affiliation with the Academy of Management. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the Human Resource Certificate Institute and holds the Society for Human Resource Management’s Senior Certified Professional credential.
