H.G. Parsa is an experienced educator with over 25 years of teaching experience at the university level. In 2005 he was invited by the Government of India to receive a Fulbright Visiting Scholar Fellowship. Parsa has published or presented more than 225 research papers in business and business-related journals and at academic conferences internationally in approximately 20 countries. His research has appeared in peer-reviewed publications including the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Business Research, and International Journal of Revenue Management. He’s received numerous awards, including the John Wiley & Sons Lifetime Research Achievement Award from the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education.
A regular media resource for his expertise, Parsa has been quoted by Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, The Atlantic, CBS, ABC, and NPR. He earned his PhD in hospitality management from Virginia Tech. He is an Associate Editor for two major international journals and serves on the board of seven others. He has authored and edited books and book chapters on the topics of pricing, CSR, and sustainability.
