Jyotika Singh is a principal applied scientist at Oracle, leading the development of generative AI solutions across industries and directly contributing to significant revenue growth. Previously, as director of data science at Placemakr, she developed machine learning solutions for property optimization. She also led natural language processing (“NLP”) innovations at ICX Media that facilitated the company’s successful acquisition. A frequent speaker at global conferences, Jyotika has contributed to open-source projects with more than 35,000 downloads. She also serves on review committees for leading industry conferences such as EMNLP and ACL, and she mentors early- to mid-career professionals through organizations including Data Science Nigeria and Women Impact Tech.
Jyotika earned an MS in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. She holds patents in AI, NLP, and machine learning. She is also the author of the book Natural Language Processing in the Real World (CRC Press/Taylor & Francis, 2023). Her work has earned her numerous awards, including DataIQ Top 100 Most Influential People in Data, the Data Science Leadership Award, and recognition as a Woman of Impact over multiple years.
