Neelufar Payrov-Patterson is a senior data analyst at Hoag Memorial Presbyterian Hospital. She was previously a data scientist at UCI Health, where she contributed to the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program through large-scale predictive modeling, data quality assurance, and research mentorship. Neelufar’s experience in data science and statistical analysis is complemented by her background in information technology and software quality assurance. She specializes in developing artificial intelligence applications in healthcare with a focus on leveraging heterogeneous clinical and multimodal data for predictive modeling, risk assessment, and quality improvement.

Neelufar holds a BSc from Azad University and an MSc in artificial intelligence (“AI”) from Amirkabir University of Technology, both in Tehran, Iran. She earned her PhD in information science at Florida State University, where her dissertation examined explainable AI for predictive modeling of electronic health records in cardiovascular patients. Neelufar also completed the Stanford Ignite executive education program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Stanford University School of Medicine, where she applied machine learning and deep learning methods to study chronic disease risk and early-life health trajectories.
