Claudia Kropf

Claudia Kropf began her career in accounting for the state government of South Carolina and then with Scott Paper, Fidelity Investments, and State Street Bank in Boston. She made a career shift to human resources, where she held leadership positions in multiple industries, including manufacturing, hospitality, high-tech, and professional services. Her previous positions include Deputy Administrator – Administration for Florence County, South Carolina, where she was responsible for HR, facilities, procurement, IT, finance, and grants; Director of Human Resources for Florence County; Vice President of Human Resources for the National Automobile Dealers Association; and Vice President of Marketing for the Human Resource Association of the National Capital Area. Claudia is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management’s national and local chapters and the Human Resource Leadership Forum. She has extended her industry expertise as a guest speaker for the Northern Virginia mentoring program and a keynote speaker for the Emerging Leaders Summer Institute graduation.

Claudia earned her MS in human resource management from LaRoche University and her BA in English from the University of South Carolina. She also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification and is recognized as a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional.
