Ed Johnson

Ed Johnson is a global human resources executive with 40 years of business experience in a variety of industries, with an emphasis in manufacturing and high tech. Ed’s HR background is both broad and deep, including extensive experience in global operations and M&A. Prior to joining Attenditus, Ed served in consulting and interim roles, including VPHR and Chief Administrative Officer at three struggling start-ups, and prior to that he served in corporate roles as VPHR with Smith Micro Software, Newegg.com, and Quest Software.

Ed earned a BA and an MBA from California State University, Long Beach, where he has since served on the HR Advisory Board for the College of Business. Ed received his SPHR certification from HRCI in 1997.

Ed is Treasurer, and former President, of the PIHRA Foundation, a former Executive Committee Member of the PIHRA Board, and has served two three-year terms on the Board of the Orange County Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He is co-founder of 3V4F, a volunteer organization that offers a free four-day career transition course to career military personnel at Camp Pendleton. Ed’s own military service included six years as an infantry NCO in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, 1966-1972.
