Gerry Ledford is a nationally recognized authority on aligning human capital practices to business strategy. His work focuses on compensation and total rewards, performance management, employee engagement and involvement, large-scale organizational change, and HR Technology. He is Senior Research Scientist at the Center for Effective Organizations in the Marshall School of Business at USC, where he was a key contributor from 1982-1998 and from 2012-present. He was a leader at Sibson Consulting from 1998-2003, where he served as SVP and Practice Leader, Employee Effectiveness. Since 2004, he has been President of Ledford Consulting Network, LLC. He has conducted research in and consulted to scores of Fortune 1000 firms. He received his PhD and MA in Psychology from the University of Michigan. Gerry is the author of over 125 articles and 11 books. He is active in several professional societies. His awards include the SHRM’s Yoder-Heneman Personnel Research Award. His opinions have been cited in many outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Bloomberg Business Week, Fortune, The Economist, and PBS.
