Lee Miller

Lee E. Miller has over 30 years’ experience as a human resources executive, employment and labor lawyer, executive coach, and corporate trainer, specializing in the fields of leadership, influence, negotiation, and innovation. Formerly the Chief Human Resources Officer at TV Guide, USA Networks, and Barneys New York Inc., Miller also served as Vice President of Labor and Employee Relations at R. H. Macy & Co. Previous positions also include Chair of the International Association of Corporate and Professional Recruiters, and Secretary to the Union County Motion Picture Advisory Board. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Washington State Bar Association Credit Union and an advisor to, and an honorary director of, the Tianjin Society in Singapore.

Miller earned a BA from Rutgers University and a JD from Harvard Law School. He is the author, with collaborator Barbara Jackson, of UP Influence, Power and the U Perspective: The Art of Getting What You Want and, with his daughter Jessica Miller, A Woman’s Guide to Successful Negotiating, selected by the Huffington Post as one of the “16 Inspiring Books Women Leaders Need to be Reading.” He is also the co-author of “Getting People to Believe in Something They Can’t Yet Imagine,” published in the Harvard Business Review online.
