Roberto Blain

Roberto Blain is Principal at Cerulean Leadership, a company he co-founded in 2015 that specializes in strategy, culture, and talent management. Over the past 35 years, Roberto has held human resources and talent management leadership roles in organizations such as the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Walt Disney Feature Animation, the University of Southern California, and AltaMed Health Services, where he most recently served as AVP of Talent Acquisition.

Some of Roberto’s accomplishments include helping to manage an organization-wide culture change initiative at L.A. Care Health Plan, leading strategic planning for ABC Entertainment and the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, and co-creating the Trojan Leadership Academy at Keck Medicine of USC. Roberto’s international human resources experience includes delivering talent acquisition solutions for the Sidra Medical and Research Center in Qatar and providing executive search support for Warner Bros. in South America, Europe, and Asia.

A graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business with a master’s in leadership from USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, Roberto is currently working with organizations to help them integrate and align their strategy, culture, talent management, leadership, and employment brand. He is also in the process of co-authoring a book on strategic talent management innovation and exploring new paradigms in business transformation with a start-up company.
