Roberto Blain is Principal at Cerulean Leadership, a company he co-founded in 2015 that specializes in strategic planning, organizational culture change, leadership development, and talent management. Over the past 25 years, Roberto has held human resources and talent management leadership roles in organizations such as Walt Disney Feature Animation, the University of Southern California, and AltaMed Health Services, where he served as AVP of Talent Acquisition.
Some of Roberto’s accomplishments include helping to manage an organization-wide culture change initiative at L.A. Care Health Plan, facilitating strategic planning for the Norris Cancer Hospital, and co-creating the Trojan Leadership Academy at Keck Medicine of USC. Roberto’s international human resources experience includes delivering talent acquisition solutions for the Sidra Medical and Research Center in Qatar and providing executive search support for Warner Bros. in South America, Europe, and Asia.
A graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business with a master’s in Leadership from USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, Roberto has recently developed a strategic planning program for HR teams and is co-authoring a book on strategic talent acquisition.
