Tim Pescatello

Tim Pescatello is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive expertise in public sector labor relations, employment law, and complex contract negotiations. He currently serves as the Head Deputy of Employee Relations for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, the largest prosecutorial office in the United States. Tim began his career as a labor law attorney, representing police and fire department personnel throughout California. His background includes comprehensive experience defending public sector employees in administrative, civil, and criminal proceedings. He has served as chief negotiator in high-stakes collective bargaining, bringing deep negotiation experience from both the labor‑side and management‑side. In addition, he has advised agencies on a wide range of employment matters, including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance, wage and hour issues, and public safety labor practices. Tim also specialized in representing police officers during critical incidents, providing immediate and informed counsel in high‑pressure environments.

Tim holds a JD from Southwestern University School of Law and received his BA in criminology, law and society from the University of California, Irvine.
