On May 15, 2020, USC Bovard College held a virtual celebration for its class of 2020 graduates.
While this might not be the graduation day that graduates had previously envisioned, Dean Bailey encouraged grads to take time to “pause to acknowledge the feelings of pride and joy that rightly come with earning a master’s degree from USC.”
Graduates took part in the celebration, sharing why they were proud of their achievements and thanked those who helped them get to where they are today. MSCJ faculty members also shared messages of congratulations with the graduates, recognizing their hard work and dedication and offering words of advice as they embark on their journey beyond graduation.
Until graduates, faculty, and staff come together on campus for commencement, the virtual celebration was a time to honor the graduates’ achievements and celebrate their accomplishments, diversity and aspirations.
