Diane Badame is the Academic Director of the USC Marshall School of Business MS in Marketing program. During her tenure, she has held associate and assistant dean roles across several programs within Marshall, including the undergraduate, full-time MBA, MBA for professionals and managers, and executive MBA programs. A thrice recipient of the Golden Apple Teaching Award, Diane has significantly contributed to curriculum and program development at USC, notably launching the Global Leadership Development Program and Global Leadership Fellows Program for the full-time MBA and overseeing new courses and programs for several USC schools as Chairman of the Social Sciences Sub-Committee. Diane’s board memberships include the Executive MBA Council and the MBA Roundtable, where she’s contributed significantly to enhancing the quality of graduate education globally. Her extensive background as a marketing practitioner also encompasses several high-level management roles at consumer-packaged goods companies and financial institutions such as Pillsbury, First Bank Minneapolis, Bank of America, USL Capital, and Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company.
Diane holds a BS, MS, and PhD from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Minnesota. Over the years, she has collaborated with the Harvard Business Review and co-authored marketing cases for Harvard Business School.
