Jennifer Dinalo is the Health Sciences Research and Data Librarian for the Norris Medical Library at the University of Southern California (USC). As a USC Libraries liaison to the health sciences research community, she is dedicated to providing support in the areas of discovery, management, analysis, and visualization of research data. Jennifer’s efforts help ensure compliance with funder requirements for data sharing and promote rigor, reproducibility, and transparency in research.
Jennifer completed her BS in biochemistry and mathematics at Regis University and her MLIS (master’s in library and information science) at San Jose State University. She earned her PhD in molecular microbiology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center before being awarded a postdoctoral research position at Stanford University where she studied the effects of antibiotics on the normal human microbiome using biochemical and bioinformatics approaches. Jennifer’s scholarly and professional contributions comprise an extensive list of publications and presentations.
