Anil Sawhney

Anil Sawhney is an engineer, project manager, technologist, and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the construction sector. He has a rich mix of industry, academic, research, and consulting experience gathered working in the United States, India, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. He worked as a technical consultant to the World Bank from 2002 to 2007 under the International Comparison Program (ICP) to develop a framework for spatial and temporal comparison for the comparison-resistant construction sector. Over the last two and a half decades, he has built a substantial record of leadership and created a strong education, research, consulting, and service program in the project management domain. Sawhney is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) of the UK. He has published over 150 publications in refereed technical journals and conference proceedings. Co-editor of the journal Construction Innovation, Sawhney also serves on the international editorial boards of Infrastructure Asset Management, Civil Engineering and Environmental Systems, and the Journal of Information Technology in Construction.
