Message from the Dean​
USC Bovard College

​The University of Southern California is one of the world’s leading private research universities and has been integral to the Los Angeles community since its founding in 1880. Over 100 years later, in 2016, the Bovard College was founded with a bold vision of access and opportunity. We set out to offer professional graduate programs in areas of high employment demand and offer them fully online. The mission was, and still is, to unlock career opportunities for our students. ​

At USC Bovard College, you will find an inviting and collaborative culture where lifelong learners are gaining the knowledge and skills they need to move their industries, and careers, forward. What makes Bovard College so successful, is we have a truly student-centered environment. Our college was built from the ground up, with our students’ success in mind. ​

Our classes are taught by dedicated faculty, who are expert practitioners in their fields. They aid their students’ understanding with real-world examples, as well as the guiding theory and principles they teach in the classroom. ​

Our streamlined, applied curriculum has real-world applicability. What our students learn in the classroom today, they will use in their work tomorrow. ​

We reinvented the online learning environment by building a platform that’s just as engaging and effective as a classroom on campus. Students take deep dives into complex concepts, attend live sessions each week, and engage with professional multi-media to bring theory to life. Additionally, students have ample opportunities to engage with their professors, peers, and guest speakers who are leading the forefront of their professional fields. ​

Though our students never have to step foot on our beautiful campus, we see them often at USC sporting and cultural events, and of course at commencement along with all members of the Trojan Family.

I’m very proud that we’re bringing a world-class education to those who may not have been previously able to access it, given their professional and personal responsibilities. Our students are parents and caregivers, full-time employees with commitments to their communities, and some, active military stationed across the globe. ​

I’m incredibly honored to serve as the founding dean of USC Bovard College. Our students and alumni are making incredible strides in businesses, governments, and non-profits around the country, and the world. ​
